We, Jeroen and Frans-Jan, met at drama school in 1986. It was love at first sight. After many years of working in education and after a lot of wandering through South and North America, North Africa and many European countries together, our hearts would always beat faster at the thought of Italy.
The year before the corona pandemic, we decided to follow the heartbeats and explore the possibilities of a bed & breakfast in Tuscany. Our children, triplets, can now stand on their own two feet and live their own lives so why wait until our retirement! ?
To live out our dreams, we sold our house at the Griftpark in Utrecht and said goodbye to our students, schools and theater courses, to our caravan at camping Bakkum and to the tennis club. Quite some sacrifices as it may seem, but it was all worth it as our introduction to the house in Sinalunga was also a case of love at first sight.
